Arizona Charitable Tax Credit

What Is The Arizona Charitable Tax CREDIT

The Arizona Tax Credit allows taxpayers to support organizations like the Military Support Foundation (MSF) while reducing their state tax liability. Instead of paying the full amount to the Arizona Department of Revenue, individuals can donate to MSF and receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit, effectively directing their tax dollars to help active-duty military and their families. This means your contribution goes directly to programs like care packages for deployed service members, events for military families, or the free food pantry for service members in need. It's a simple way to make a meaningful impact in your community while fulfilling your tax obligations.

How Does It work?

Through the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit, Arizona taxpayers have a unique opportunity to support organizations like the Military Support Foundation while benefiting from a dollar-for-dollar reduction in their state tax liability. Individuals can donate up to $495 if filing as a single taxpayer or up to $987 if filing jointly, and Arizona will deduct the full amount from what they owe in state taxes.
